Save Money Each Month  Are you looking for some ways to reduce expenses and actually save some money?  Most of us would love to spend less on everyday essentials, especially with recent economic difficulties. Hopefully you'll find some ideas on this site that you can quickly implement to reduce your monthly expenses and save some of that hard earned money

You would be truly amazed at how easy it is to get things like toothpaste, hair products, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, body wash, makeup, feminine products and food for free.  Now, think about it. If you can get one bottle of shampoo for free at your drug store this week, why not get a few bottles for free and stock-up?  This same idea goes for every free or extremely cheap item that you can find.  Once you learn how to successfully use coupons, rewards and rebates you'll be stocking-up on everything your family uses at its' rock bottom price. Once you come home with your first load of free drug store and grocery store items you will be hooked.  It's an incredible feeling to slash your spending on the things your family really needs.  I have been able to achieve an average over all savings of at least 75% of everything that I buy at the grocery store and drug store, and my cabinets are fully stocked. I've found easy ways to save money that I will continue to use each and every month.

Ways to Save Money with Free Items My name is Stacy. I am a wife and mother living in Delaware and this past year I have learned about a whole new way of shopping for everyday essentials at grocery stores, drug stores and even office supply stores.  I've also learned that there is a whole community of savings-conscious consumers out there who are happy to share their methods for saving money with anyone who is willing to listen.

Well I was listening! So for for the last ten months I have been putting theses methods into practice myself and I have been able to save over $4,200.00 in that time period by utilizing coupons, rebates and rewards programs.  (To the left you'll see one recent shopping trip and everything pictured was free.)  I've also learned that there are some easy ways to bring in a little extra money each month as well.

Now, before you dismiss the idea that clipping coupons can save you thousands of dollars per year, let me assure you that it really works.  I used to be a very casual coupon user, although I always felt like I was a pretty good shopper.  I would often clip coupons but inevitably forget them at home.  It never seemed to be worth my time to clip, file and sort coupons just to find that they had expired before I remembered to use them.

The basic idea that has transformed the way that I view and use coupons is this - There are coupon blogs online that list each week's sales at the various grocery stores and drug stores, as well as which coupons to use with the sale, where to find the coupons and how to get lots of the items you need for free. Now here's the great part - you don't need to clip and file coupons that you aren't going to use.  You take the coupon inserts from the Sunday newspaper, label the cover of each insert with the date, and put it onto a file.  The blogs will later tell you which coupon you need for a particular deal and which insert it can be found in.  So, less clipping!

Now, this is not for everyone.  I have been so excited about my newly found advanced couponing techniques that I have been sharing the concept with people that I know. Very few have actually pursued serious couponing as a way to save money. Some feel that they don't have the time, others just don't seem to get the concept, but if you have the desire to find ways to save money, are willing to learn and can set aside a little time, you will definitely save a significant amount of money each month. So, if this sounds like something for you, look over the rest of my site for links to the coupon blogs, examples of some of my recent shopping trips, and some other fun ways to save money.
